Jim Minturn - Lead Pastor contact

Jim Minturn is Lead Pastor of Covenant Church and primary pastor of the Sunday morning congregation. Jim has a Masters of Divinity degree from North Park Seminary and is an ordained Covenant minister. He has been in ministry for more than 30 years and has served in Nelson since 2003. Jim and his wife Jan have two grown sons. Jim and Jan have enjoyed their time in Nelson and look forward seeing new congregations formed and assisting in the spiritual growth of the entire church.

Jesse Lerch - Pastor contact

Jesse is the primary pastor for Saturday Night and the Junction. In 1999 Jesse served at the Nelson/Balfour Covenant church as a student intern and in 2000 was brought on as associate pastor. Jesse has received his B.A. in pastoral ministry from Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary and is currently working on his M.A. in Biblical Studies from the same school. Jesse Lerch was born and raised in the Nelson area and resides in Nelson with his wife Marie and their two boys Jeremy and James. You can read Jesse's Blog here.

Andrew Fortuine - Pastor contact

Andrew Fortuine is primary pastor of the Balfour congregation. A graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary and North Park Seminary, Andrew came to the Kootenays in 2003 following two years of missionary service in Japan. Andrew's passions for ministry include worship, discipleship, prayer, community outreach, and Bible study. He and his wife, Heather, and their son Elliot live in beautiful Balfour, and are excited for the many ways God is building His church in this area!
